The calendar seems to have quite a few vision board events, which are sessions where people put their plans for the new year on a physical visual board so that they can see them and keep track of them all year. You should definitely check one of those out if you are interested in a unique way of keeping up with your resolutions.
Otherwise, there are concerts, and cosplay ice-skating, and all kinds of fun this weekend for all ages.
