My friend and neighbor! I am hoping that you had a lot to be grateful for this Thanksgiving and that powerful feeling of gratitude and abundance will carry you straight through the holiday season. Now, because Thanksgiving was so late this month, I can already tell you that this first weekend of December is going to be packed with Tree Lightings, Holiday gatherings, and Santa 🎅🏻 appearances for pictures, breakfasts and brunches. I hope you are looking forward to these and all of the traditional holiday events that have been on my calendar every year for the last eight years.

Specifically, I am looking forward to the Town of Babylon Tree Lighting Ceremony with Santa at the Town Hall in Lindenhurst this Friday. This event always features Santa arriving on a fire engine, vendors with hot cocoa, pretzels and other holiday treats. The kids have the opportunity to write letters to Santa and place them in a special mailbox that the town has at the event, or you can tell the Big Man himself when he takes a picture with you. Town officials countdown the lighting of the tree and so if you wanted a photo opportunity with them, you could get that as well. I am pretty sure I’ll be shooting a video from there this year, so if you make it please come over and ask to give your holiday greetings to your family and friends.
