This week starts off with Columbus Day so if you have kids or grandkids they might be home with you, OR... you can take them to see Bunnicula in Bay
Shore or one of two Pokémon Paint Parties in Amityville this week.
In local nightlife, Ladies bowl for free in Farmingdale, there's the Big Night Out at the Main Event and the
Constantino Brumidi Lodge is holding their Annual Fall Fashion Show. If you'd like
to be entertained by music there are quite a few dark and brooding hard rock bands coming through town because of Halloween, too many to list so check the calendar. I want to make special note of the Wyandanch Memorial High School production of Viva Africa, which is probably something we don't get to see in our area very often and looks like a great effort has been made to present it.
In Local Business events there is a Chamber of Commerce meeting
and a Real Estate Seminar, both in Lindenhurst, as well as an Interpersonal Skills and Analytical Workshop in Farmingdale.
For the more community-minded you can talk to Police Commissioner Tim Sini in Deer Park, have your pet spayed and neutered in West Babylon, donate your kicks to cancer research at 9Round North Babylon, or attend
a Fire Safety Open House.
Let's get out there and make the most of it, have a great week!
