Although the weather may not cooperate this weekend, it still looks like there are many fun, fundraising and family events that everyone can enjoy – just stay dry if possible.
For festivals there Is the Oktoberfest in Lindenhurst, the Grand Ole Crawl in Amityville and the first everLong Island Turkish Festival in West Babylon. For you foodies there are of course the farmer’s markets but there’s also the Sabra Tasting Truck in Farmingdale, and if you are so inclined the Rosh Hashanah Community Dinner in Islip. Has anybody tried out Latin Fridays with Rico? That looks like fun – and the artist in you may also want to see the Murder Mystery Night put on by the South Shore Theater Experience, and as always the many bands playing around Town this weekend. Now remember, it looks like the Babylon Town Fall Festival is canceled due to the weather but alternately you can go to the Fall Fun Kids Event at Theater 294 and of course the Oktoberfest in
Lindenhurst which promises plenty of rides
Remember, Fall means many of our Farmer’s Markets will be ending soon, so go get your local,
fresh veggies and foodstuff while you still can. Have a Great Weekend, from I Love Babylon!
