Dust off them boots and grab your kinfolk — Babylon Town’s Weekend Hoedown is fixin’ to serve up three days of music, markets, and mighty fine merriment from Friday, Aug. 15 through Sunday, Aug. 17!

From toe-tappin’ bluegrass to big ol’ beach fireworks, we got events hotter than a skillet in July. Whether you’re huntin’ for fresh produce, family fun, or a spot to two-step under the stars, this weekend’s line-up’s got your name on it.

Sat 1–9 pm • Overlook & Cedar Beach (Residents event; permit rules apply)
Kids’ games 1–4, bouncers 4–8 at Overlook, a 6 pm set from Gold Dust Woman, and fireworks lighting up the bay around 9 pm. Pack the cooler, gather the crew, and let the shoreline shindig begin!

🎻 23rd Annual Long Island Bluegrass & Roots Music Festival
Sat Noon–7 pm • Tanner Park, Copiague
Pickers, grinners, and toe-tappers—this one’s your jam. Expect a full afternoon of world-class pickin’, workshops (banjo, mandolin, fiddle tunes, cloggin’, songwriting), and friendly pick-circles by the bay. Tickets required; free parking, and please note no pets/outside alcohol.
